Material Requirements
Rubber material: The airbag is a key component of the air spring. Its rubber material needs to have high strength, high elasticity, fatigue resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance and other properties. Generally, a mixture of natural rubber and synthetic rubber is used, and various additives and reinforcing agents are added to improve the performance of the rubber. As a reinforcing material, cord fabric is usually made of high-strength polyester fiber or aramid fiber to improve the tensile and tear resistance of the airbag.
Metal material: Metal parts such as the upper cover and lower seat need to have high strength, rigidity and corrosion resistance. Generally, high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel is used, and processes such as heat treatment and surface treatment are carried out to improve its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Seals are usually made of oil-resistant and aging-resistant rubber materials or polyurethane materials to ensure the sealing performance of the air spring.
